Creating an virtual event for a non-profit music venue's 45th anniversary.
WOW Hall is an iconic building located in Eugene, Oregon that has hosted some of the biggest bands in the world,
before they became household names. Rooted in history and community,
we were tasked to create an virtual livestream event to celebrate its 45th anniversary along with fundraising to keep the building afloat.
I worked on creating an brand identity for the event, an updated logo celebrating
its iconic facade and creating animations for the festival event.
2020 - 2021
I. IDENTITY

Using the historic building facade and it's legendary list of past performers we aimed to create new feelings of nostalgia and excitement for tomorrow by reliving the best days in the completely virtual landscape of 2020.
II. GOAL
To raise $1,000 to overhead costs for the building and reunite the WOW community through
a night of music and multiple zoom dance parties.
III. RESULTS
We raised over $14,000 and danced our asses off in a zoom party.
Before
After

Animation showing process and thought behind using the building's architecture as apart of the newly designed logo.

Using dualtone images by applying our event's colors with blending modes of hue and darken to create symbolism and consistency between posters.
Updating the look and creating animation for the iconic lotus flower
